TRAINING NEWS
November was a great month for Team Spartan as good weather held out and we finished our 2007 training season with classes in Lockport, Illinois, Harvey, Illinois and Baton Rouge, Louisiana!

Baton Rouge was the place to be as we presented our Developing Reflexive Gun-handling Skills course several times at the 16th Action Target - Law Enforcement Training Camp. The LETC South was SOLD OUT again, for the second time in 2008, with over 120 law enforcement and private industry firearms instructors from across the country attending classes with some of the best world class instructors in the firearms training industry!

The weather was perfect as each student attended 4 action packed 8-hour instructor development level training blocks, that allowed instructors from across the country to network and share valuable training information with each other. Students also got a chance to show off their "A" game when they competed in the "Dirty Harry Competition" for a free scholarship to next year's LETC. As usual, the food was excellent as lunch was provided every day at the range for the entire week as part of the LETC tuition.

This LETC, we were privileged to have Dave Grossman as our special guest speaker. Dave captivated conference attendees with an awesome lecture that prepared instructors for the grim reality of what lies ahead for American law enforcement in the fight against domestic terrorism. The conference concluded with an awesome awards banquet dinner followed by closing comments from the conference instructor staff. If you haven't made it out to an LETC yet, start making plans to attend one in 2008! Don't miss out! Come train at one of the best instructor training conferences in the country!

As we prepare to break for the holiday season, Team Spartan staff would like to thank everyone that attended our training courses this year and for supporting one of the finest, most professional training companies in the country! To work on staff as an instructor with Team Spartan, we require that all of our instructors maintain the ability to perform on demand, all drills and courses of fire that we ask our students to perform.
