TRAINING NEWS
Spartan Tactical and the DS Arms Law Enforcement Training Division once again had a vendor booth on display at the 33rd Annual SHOT SHOW Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. The DS Arms booth was visited by thousands of attendees inquiring about DS Arms latest products and Spartan Tactical training courses. Overall show attendance was 57,390, about 1050 attendee's less than last year's event. There were 1,600 exhibitors displaying thousands of firearms industry products this year over 630,000 square feet of exhibition space at the Sands Expo & Convention Center. The show attracted an all time high of 31,769 buyers and 2,074 media professionals, setting new records for both. This year's convention was very exciting for DS Arms as we unveiled the newest models of the Spartan Operator Series ZM-4 5.56 rifles and SA58 .308 rifles, including our new FAL SA58 .308 handgun! Show attendees also had a chance to take a first hand look at other new firearms and products released by various companies at this year's convention. Mark your calendar for next year's SHOT SHOW Convention to be held at the Sands Expo & Convention Center again in Las Vegas January 17th - 20th, 2012. See you there! International Law Enforcement Educators & Trainers Association - 8th Annual Training Conference
Spartan Tactical and the DS Arms Law Enforcement Training Division are proud to announce that we will have a vendor booth on display at the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association's (ILEETA) 8th Annual Training Conference, April 11th - 16th, 2011, in Wheeling, Illinois. We will be presenting the following courses at the 2011 ILEETA conference - Mastering Handgun Shooting Fundamentals, Mastering Rifle Shooting Fundamentals, Emergency Trauma Management Instructor Course and the Edged Weapon Defense Course. This year's conference will be offering over 150 training tracks and dozens of law enforcement training topics. These classes fill quickly so be sure to get your ILEETA registration in early! Last year's conference sold out and registration was stopped at 750 students! ILEETA's Executive Director, Harvey Hedden, is saying that this year's conference is going to sell out as well and will be stopping registration at 800 students this year. Indiana SWAT Officer's Association - 8th Annual Training Conference
Spartan Tactical and the DS Arms Law Enforcement Training Division are proud to announce that we will have a vendor booth on display at the Indiana SWAT Officer's Association (ISOA) 8th Annual Training Conference & Vendor Expo in Ft. Wayne, Indiana May 1st - 3rd, 2011. The DS Arms Law Enforcement Training Division will have SA58 .308 rifles and ZM4 5.56 rifles on display for conference attendees to evaluate during the vendor expo. We will also be giving away another ZM4 5.56 rifle as a raffle prize again at this year's conference banquet. Spartan Tactical will also be running the 2nd Annual Junkyard Shootout Memorial Match at this year's conference. This year's event will be a 3-gun match with handgun, rifle and shotgun. There will be 10 prizes on an open table for this year's match with the top 3 prizes being firearms. Bring your A-game, this match is going to be fun! Spartan Tactical will also be presenting the following classes at the ISOA 2011 Annual Training Conference - Rapid Deployment Pistol Operator Course and the Emergency Self-aid for SWAT Operators Course.
